Matthew
Harrison, MS PT
Matt Harrison, the founder of Harrison Physical Therapy, is a lifetime
resident of the Hudson Valley.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode
Island, where he was a four-time New England Track and Field Champion.
Matt completed his graduate work in physical therapy at Simmons
College in Boston, MA, where he specialized in orthopedics and sports
medicine. After graduation, Matt worked as a physical therapist
at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston until he and his wife
relocated to Dutchess County in 1999. After practicing orthopedic and sports physical therapy
at several local clinics, Matt founded Harrison Physical Therapy
in 2002. When he is not treating patients, Matt enjoys working out,
playing golf, skiing, and spending time with his family.
Nicole
Casella, MS PT
A lifetime Dutchess County resident and Arlington High School graduate,
Nicole Casella has been working in the physical therapy field since
1997. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and
specializes in orthopedic and sports physical therapy. Nicole is a graduate
of SUNY Albany and received her master’s degree in physical
therapy from Mercy College. Nicole’s interests outside of
physical therapy include gardening, reading, and spending time with
her family.
Shane Henderson, DPT
Shane Henderson was born and raised in the Hudson Valley. He is a graduate of the State College of New York at Oneonta and went on to obtain his doctorate in physical therapy degree from The Sage Colleges in Troy, NY. Specializing in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, Shane strives to provide his patients with the most effective treatment options using current evidence-based research in order to facilitate a speedy recovery. In his free time, Shane enjoys spending time with his family, participating in team sports, working out, playing the guitar, and attending sporting events of all types.
Michaela Hess, PTA
Michaela, originally from New Hampshire, graduated high school from Berwick Academy in Maine. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from Roanoke College in Virginia, where she worked with a variety of athletic teams. Michaela then attended Bay State College in Massachusetts, where she received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree and specialized in orthopedic and sports physical therapy. In her free time, Michaela enjoys staying active, exploring the Hudson Valley with her husband, and spending time with family and friends.
